As a Community Interest Company, MiKo Empowerment will promote equality and inclusivity at the heart of our mission. The organisation will be dedicated to creating an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported, regardless of their background or identity. This commitment is reflected through celebrating diverse cultural and social events like Pride, Black History Month, and other important cultural celebrations.

By honouring these events, MiKo Empowerment will raise awareness of the unique contributions and histories of marginalised communities while fostering a culture of acceptance. Through initiatives that champion diversity, MiKo Empowerment not only promote equal opportunities but also works to break down barriers of prejudice and discrimination, ensuring that all individuals have a voice and are empowered to thrive.

In addition, throughout the projects offered by MiKo Empowerment, we aim to support those who are disadvantaged. We hope to relieve poverty, promote economic and community development and strengthen local (deprived) communities to improve residents’ life chances and reduce inequalities.
