Collazo Girls Creations was born out of love and in memory of our beloved mom, Olema, who passed away on June 18, 2011, after a courageous battle with a brain tumor.
Just one week, she was enjoying her Zumba classes, and the next, we were devastated to learn she had a stage 4 brain tumor. Despite the prognosis, she insisted on surgery, and on May 26th, she underwent the procedure. Sadly, she remained in a coma until her passing on June 18, 2011, at 2:20 AM.
Our mom was the heart and soul of every celebration. She was the one who brought joy to our family and friends with her creativity, warmth, and unforgettable event ideas. No matter the occasion, she had a way of making every space feel magical with her personal touch and special creations. Her ability to light up a room and create lasting memories for those around her was truly one of a kind.
As her daughters, we knew we had to continue her legacy. We, the Collazo girls. decided to turn her passion for creating memorable events into Collazo Girls Creations, LLC. Through our business, we aim to carry on her spirit, infusing every event with the love, creativity, and heart that she poured into everything she did.
Our mission is simple: to make every celebration as special and unique as the people it’s meant for, just as our mom did for us.
